East Devon Soul are working in coordination with the world renowned Tomorrow’s Warriors jazz agency, bringing some of the greatest new young jazz talent to the festival. These artists will blow your mind, a chance to see some of the best musicians in the country just before they explode onto the world scene. Tomorrow’s Warriors have previously brought us Ezra Collective, Nubya Garcia, Moses Boyd and Sons of Kemet. Jazz royalty.
The Seaton Tramway will feature performances from 7.30pm until 10.30pm
Betty Accorsi is an Italian-born, Brighton-based saxophonist, composer and multi-instrumentalist who’s been making a name for herself as one of the UK’s most imaginative jazz voices. Offering a sound that blends elegant European jazz and earthy, intuitive expressionism, she’s made each release feel like a journey both outward into the world and inward into the self.

Klara Devlin Trio
Ankora’ is a London based, eight-piece ensemble composed of the next generation of top UK jazz talent: Mali Sheard, Keira Chakraborty, Hannah Clifton, Klara Devlin, Miranda Radford, Tami Adebanjo, Kezia Abuoma and Holly Reinhardt. Meeting at the hailed music organisation ‘Tomorrow’s Warriors’, these ambitious young musicians previously performed as the band ‘Tomorrow’s Warriors Frontline’, under the tutelage of acclaimed drummer and composer, Romarna Campbell. ‘Ankora’ is the exciting new step the ensemble are taking to launch into the London jazz scene. https://www.ankoramusic.com/
